Many farmers need to strictly control the humidity of the greenhouse environment in order to make their crops grow well in the greenhouse, mainly to adjust the air humidity and soil humidity. The editor of this issue will introduce how to adjust the humidity of the glass greenhouse.
1. Regulation of air humidity
The purpose of air humidity regulation is to reduce the relative humidity of indoor air and reduce condensation on crop leaves. In modern glass greenhouse production, there are four ways to reduce air humidity.
(1) Pay attention to ventilation
Ventilation is a simple and effective way to adjust the humidity environment in the shed. Generally, the humidity in the shed is higher than that of the outdoors, and air with relatively low humidity is introduced through ventilation to dilute the indoor energy from the air.
(2) Moisture absorption
Using moisture-absorbing materials such as lithium oxide to absorb moisture in the air can reduce the moisture content in the air, thereby reducing the relative humidity of the air. In some cases, the greenhouse needs humidification to meet the needs of crop growth.
(3) Improve irrigation methods
Water-saving irrigation measures such as drip irrigation and micro-sprinkler irrigation in glass greenhouses can reduce groundwater collection and significantly reduce ground evaporation, thereby reducing the relative humidity of the air. Similarly, covering with plastic film can also evaporate water vapor on the ground.
(4) Need heating
Under certain indoor air humidity conditions, the relative humidity of indoor air can be effectively reduced by increasing the temperature from a low temperature to a suitable high temperature by heating. If ventilation and heating are combined, the relative humidity of indoor air can be effectively reduced.
Through the above introduction of humidity adjustment in glass greenhouses, we know that humidity can be adjusted from both air and soil. The purpose of soil moisture adjustment is to meet the water demand of crops. Therefore, the amount of irrigation should be based on the water demand of different crops in different growth periods. to make sure. We need to pay attention to the above content during operation.
