In the winter, I believe that many friends in the planting industry have built glass greenhouses to meet planting needs. In the case of low temperatures, the most important thing in the construction of greenhouses is to improve its thermal insulation performance. Here are some points that need attention.

1. First of all, in terms of greenhouse construction, the types of greenhouse construction materials are different, and their thermal conductivity and heat preservation performance are also different. For materials with high thermal conductivity, heat is easily conducted. Pay special attention to the parts with lower heat preservation performance. It is necessary to focus on reducing the heat loss of these parts and reduce the heat conduction of some parts of the greenhouse to cause heat loss. One is to block the path of heat conduction.

2. Special thermal insulation measures should be adopted in the main channel that conducts heat outward. In addition to the details, in the design and construction of the greenhouse, in order to enhance its thermal insulation, special attention should be paid to the details of the sealing design or the winter sealing measures, thickening cotton curtains, etc.

3. Pay attention to the insulation of the gutter. The gutter of the greenhouse has the function of connecting the roof and collecting rainwater drainage. Most gutters are made of steel or alloys, and have a large thermal conductivity, so the heat preservation performance is poor and the heat loss is large. The method of gutter insulation is to use hollow structural materials to use space layers for insulation; the other is to paste a layer of insulation on the surface of the single-layer material gutter.

For the winter-warming solar greenhouse, the brick wall behind it, the ring beam on the top of the underground ring beam and the low wall are the parts that conduct heat outward. In addition, when the wall thickness is not large, the underground soil layer dissipates heat from the foundation and is also an important channel for heat loss. Therefore, in the construction of greenhouses, insulation layers are laid outside the foundation and short walls. For solar greenhouses or vegetable greenhouses, cold-proof ditches can also be set around the greenhouses and filled with insulation materials to block the loss of ground temperature.
