NFT is the abbreviation of Nutrient Film Technique. It is a hydroponic technology. The root system of the plant grows in a plastic tank or a fixed channel, and the nutrient solution is continuously circulated through the channel to provide the plants with the necessary nutrients and water.

It has two types, one is the tiled NFT system, which is the most popular hydroponic structure in current vegetable hydroponic agriculture. The tiled NFT system is suitable for users with a large planting area. Its advantages are simple construction, easy management, low investment cost, and uniform plant growth.
The other is a three-dimensional NFT system. Users of small-area planting can choose to build a three-dimensional NFT, which can make more efficient use of vertical space, effectively reduce equipment erection costs and personnel management costs, and increase the unit output by about 30%-50%.
The NFT hydroponic system needs to provide nutrient solution, which may seem complicated, but in fact, the operation is very simple.
