Strawberries are popular, hot sale and have great profit to plant it in the greenhouse which easy to control the strawberry growing temperature and humidity
Strawberry growing environment in greenhouse:
1. Temperature: Strawberry likes a warm and cool climate, the root growth temperature of strawberry is 5-30℃, the optimum temperature is 15-22℃, the optimum temperature for stem and leaf growth is 20-30℃, the buds are frozen at -15--10℃, and the flower buds are differentiated. The temperature must be maintained at 5 to 15 °C during the flowering period, and 4 to 40 °C during the flowering and fruiting period. When strawberries are over the summer, when the temperature is higher than 30 ℃ and the sunshine is strong, shading measures should be taken.
2. Light: Strawberry is a light-loving plant, but it has strong shade tolerance. When the light is strong, the plants are short and strong, the fruit is small, the color is dark, and the quality is good. Moderate light, large fruit, light color, low sugar content, long harvest period, too weak light is not conducive to the growth of strawberries.
3. Moisture: Strawberry has a shallow root system and a large amount of transpiration, and has strict requirements on water, but it has different growth periods. Strawberries have slightly different water requirements. In early spring and flowering corals, the lint required by the grass is less than 70% of the maximum soil water holding capacity. The fruit growth and maturity period requires the most, reaching more than 80%. After harvesting, the stolons and new adventitious roots are extracted, and the soil moisture content also needs to be no less than 70%. Autumn is the period of plant accumulation of nutrients and flower bud formation, and soil moisture must not be low. At 60%, strawberries are not resistant to waterlogging, requiring good soil permeability, and pay attention to the drainage of the field in the rainy season.
4. Soil: Strawberries should be grown in fertile, loose neutral or slightly acidic loam soil. Too sticky and heavy soil is not suitable for cultivation. Sandy soil should be applied with manure and water frequently. Strawberries can also be grown.
